RateMyAnimations is an online animation community that allows artists and animators to create animation online. Users submit animations by using our Flash based software tool, and people rate animations a score from 1 to 5. RateMyAnimations was the outcome of the success of RateMyDrawings.com. Artists were using the online drawing tool at RateMyDrawings to create animations but were limited by that tools focus as a drawing tool, so it was obvious that we create a tool to release the power of animtion to all these great artists. The idea of RateMyAnimations started a very long time ago, but bringing this community together has been a suprizingly easy task. Our first launch is quite basic, but we do plan on putting more and more advanced animation features into our community to make RateMyAnimations the leading social online animation community.

SUBMIT ANIMATIONS
To create an animation online, all you need is a browser capable of viewing our Flash animation application. RateMyAnimations works just like most many well known key-frame based animation applications. Once your animation is complete, you will receive an email that allows you to unlock your animation for the public to see. Users will begin rating your animation and posting comments in no time.
RATE ANIMATIONS At any time you can view animations in any of our categories. View an animation and watch it re-draw as it was created. Rate an animation by clicking the rating buttons under the drawing and be sure to post feedback to let the artist know your thoughts.
CREATE YOUR OWN ANIMATION GALLERY
Each registered user has their own home page that they can send to friends that displays all their animations. Create as many as you like and share your animations with your friends.
THE TOP ANIMATIONS & RATING SYSTEM
Users are only allowed to vote once for each drawing in a certain period. Votes are recorded by IP address and we do track votes to make sure all your animations votes are not from the same IP address to prevent cheating. To get your animation in the Top Animations lists you will need to meet the required number of votes. More recently our "Best Overall" ranking system takes into consideration which animations have been favorited, commented and how many ratings each animation has.
THE CREATOR OF RATE MY ANIMATIONS
RateMyAnimations was created by Mick Gow - an interactive Designer/Developer based in Washington, USA. RateMyAnimations is a sister (or brother) site to RateMyDrawings. Once RateMyDrawings became a success it seemed obvious that there was value in offering a dedicated animation community., RateMyAnimations will no doubt become a great success growing side by side with RateMyDrawings. RateMyAnimations was created to give animators and those learning animtaion a fun way to share some quick animations with one another. Our goal is to improve and build RateMyAnimations into an industry recognized playground for animators, but also a great social community to just have fune. The success of RateMyAnimations relies on all you animators out there, so take a moment to join and submit your animations.
